Memo: - A charge was made against E. Hogson in the Account Adjusted in
August 1826 - of £32 - paid his son William on the 26.July 1821. which he says
ought not to have been charged to him, as he says his son had no order from him
to receive that sum: - A copy of his sons receipt is sent with this, that he may explain how he gave that receipt in his Fathers Account and it will be necessary for Edward Hodgson to send up Mr Wallace's Letter in which he agreed to allow William Hodgson 50/ p month from the Year 1815 to 1821. M.W.s Letter is said to be dated in 1814.
M.W never charged his Wages to the Government at more than 45/ p month and M.W.cannot submit to lose the difference.
