By His Honor, Michael Wallace, President and Commander in Chief in and over His Majesty's Province of Nova-Scotia, etc. etc. etc.

To The Treasurer of The Province, You are hereby directed to pay unto The Commissioners of Sable Island the sum of Four Hundred Pounds [£400 -] towards the support of that Establishment the present year out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriated for the support of His Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of this Province. And in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms, at Halifax, this 20 day of July in the 6th Year of His Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini 1825
