SIR JAMES KEMPT,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Military order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over His Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia, and its Dependencies, &c. &c. &c.

TO THE TREASURER OF THE PROVINCE,
OR HIS DEPUTY.

You are hereby directed to pay unto The Compliments of Sable Island the sum of Four Hundred Pounds for the support of the Establishment the present year.

out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriated for the support of His Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of this Province. And in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms, at Halifax this 29th day of April in the 5th year of His Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini 1824.
