By His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sir James Kempt, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor, and Commander in Chief, in and over His Majesty's Province of Nova-Scotia, and its Dependencies, etc. etc. etc.

To The Treasurer of the Province, or His Deputy, You are hereby directed to pay unto the Commissioner's of Sable Island the sum of Four hundred pounds [£400.0.0] for the support of that Establishment the present year out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriated for the Support of His Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of this Province. And in so doing, this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand, and Seal at Arms, at Halifax, this 20th day of June in the Second Year of His Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini, 1821.
