Dear Sir

The owners of the Am Brig "Alma P" which vessel was wrecked on Sable Island about two years since have requested us to communicate with your office to enquire what amount was paid Cap.n York _ the mast of the vessel, by the "Board of Works" for his Services assisting to save materials &c.

Cap.n York has died without having had a settlement with the owners, who are now preparing to settle with his estate & are consequently desirous of having the information sought
