Shipped, in good order and condition, by Joseph Francis on board the Schooner called the Wave whereof _________ is Master for this voyage, now lying at the Port of NEW-YORK, and bound for Halifax [Sable Island is crossed out]. To say: all on Deck One Life Surf Boat No. 1897. 2 Cork fenders. 2 India Rubber pails 10 Life Preservers. 5-16 ft. 1-15 ft. 1-17 pillars [?] 14 Chains & Balls

Sable Island

One Wagon, on deck being numbered and marked as in the margin, and are to be delivered in the like order and condition, in the Port of Halifax, Nova Scotia [Sable Island is crossed out] (the dangers of the seas only excepted) unto _____________ or to ____________ assigns, he or they paying freight for the said Boat [illegible] Fifty Dollars with ________ primage and average accustomed. In Witness whereof, the Master or Purser of the said vessel hath affirmed to Three Bills of Lading, all of this tenor and date; one of which being accomplished, the others to stand void.
