Sable Island 3rd May 1854

Dear Sir

The Daring arrived this forenoon and we are getting the supplies onshore as fast as possible so that she may get away tonight.

I have sent a boat that Cap.n Daly says you wished to have and enclose the list of persons who are entitled to money for their losses by fire. Also a list of vessels that John Humphry and John Himmelman should receive wreck money for. The South beach is strewed with Spruce deals since yesterday morning. We shall save what we can of them. I have nothing special to notice.

In great hast
Your Obedient Servant
M.D. McKenna
