having become quite thick we lost sight of her.
You will please allow Knocks wife and Walkers wife to come on by return of Daring. We had so much difficulty in getting a carpenter and our work has get so far behind for the want of one that I think it best to hold on to Walker while we have him. I wish your advice respecting Jackson and family. I cannot recommend the increase of wages.
The blacksmith goes off now and Graham will go next time. The house of refuge at the East End is more than half done. Please send all the supplies by next trip. I shall expect the Daring back in a week from this.
