I briefly acknowledged by telegraph on the 14th inst: the receipt of your telegraphic despatch of the day previous relating to the charges brought against the master of the Sch.r "Juvenile" of Plymouth in this State. The depositions referred to in your despatch have not yet reached me but in the meantime, acting under the advice of the Hon. G.S. Hillard, a United States
