Sir John Gaspard LeMarchaud, Lieut Govr of Nova Scotia Canada
I have the honour and pleasure by this writing of conveying to your Excellency a Life Boat, "The Victoria of Boston", for use at Sable Island, and which, with its appendages, has been a gift to me, for this destination, from the Honb Abbott, Lawrence, the Honb Joseph Phillips; Col F.H. Perkins; Honb William Appleton; Jack Upton Ric Hooper and R.B. Forbes Esqr - all of Boston. To the latter gentleman, I have been under added
