In reply to your Excellency's Letter of yesterday's date, on the subject of the removal of the shipwrecked people and Cargo from the Brig Lancaster on Sable Island;

I have the honor to inform your Excellency that I have no vessel at my disposal for this Service, nor shall I have any for some considerable
time
