and for house rent, which your Petitioner is bound to liquidate and he returned to his duties in the Customs at the expiration of the said fourteen days, his pay therein would have supplied the wants of himself and family.

Your Petitioner has presumed humbly to throw himself upon our Excellency's Clemency, stating the hardship of the Situation, under which, he, a poor Man (with a large family dependant upon him) is placed, craving of your Excellency relief in the Premises.

And as in duty bound
He will every pray.
