and in the opinion of the Commissioners is actuated by malevolent feelings towards him. The Commissioners will avail themselves of the earliest opportunity of calling on Mr Darby for further explanation and proof as they are anxious to ascertain the truth, and still retain the respect for Mr Darby's character and confidence in his ability which has hitherto subsisted.

As soon as the answer of Mr Darby to the charges is received by the Commissioners they will immediately transmit the same together with the affidavits above alluded to for His Excellency's information and further orders.
