The Lieut Governor desires that
copies of the Affidavits taken regard-
ing Sable Island may be imme-
diately sent to the Commissioners
of that Island, that they may
enquire into the Statements
therein contained against
Mr Darby, & report the [result?]
to the L Governor

No time should be lost in
entering into this enquiry as
the Passengers & Crew of the
Brigg Lancaster are about
quitting Halifax

Charges against Captain Darby. Endorsed by Sir Colin Campbell. "The Governor desires that copies of the affidavit taken regarding Sable Island be sent immediately to the Commission that they may inquire into the statements therein contained (---) M. Darby and report to the Governor".
