And served all the Campain under the Duke of Wellington, he has a Pension of £100 per ann.m for life. We find this climate very severe. My brother's military grant of [200.0? 2000?] acres is upon the river [Narhwak?] near Fredrictton, but he and his Family will come soon after, if I can give him any favourable account of the climate and soil. My [illegible] application, and amount of my discription will tire you I am afraid, but for the future, should any correspondence be necessary, it will be more concise. I honourably ask your pardon for this trouble, and hope you'll be kind enough to cause the proper person to answer any of my enquiries your Excellency may think well of.

My party are no Sailors, they only understand fishing in small Boats, and Scooners, of from 20 to 50 tons, they don't understand the Rules of Navigation, but say they can take a Schooner to any of the Fishing Grounds.
