Sir,

His Excellency the Governor having requested the acc'ts and annual report of Sable Island should be handed him a month prior to the meeting of the House of Assembly and cannot be completed without ascertaining the [acc't?] of Salvage on the Ship Eagles property, the Commissioners will thank you to inform them when you will be ready to meet the Magistrates appointed to [award? amt?] Salvage and expenses in the above case and thus enable them to complete their Acc't and hand it in for His Excellencys examination.
