The enclosed deed showing the expenditure
for the present year and state of the Isle of Sable funds
is respectfully submitted for the information of His
Excellency the Lieut. Governor
The Balance remaining in the Treasury
L. 92 . 1. 3 with L400 the provincial grant of 1833 which
remains undrawn will be insufficient to defray
the ordinary expenses of the ensuing Year without
further aid, The sum that is required for that service
will be about L.700 provided no extraordinary expense
should occur. The Commissioners have much pleasure
in acquainting His Excellency that owing to the excellent
management of the Superintendant the establishment is
in a very flourishing state and every way effective.
The Buildings and Boats are all in good order
The Head Quarters have been lately painted and a
new House built on the South Side for the acomodation
of Shipwrecked people. The Island has been furnished
with fifty Blankets which with the Fifty heat Coats
sent
