Your favor of the 3rd June was duly received. I annex your copies of letters received from his Excellency Lord Howard de Walden on the subject of your claim for proceeds of "Myrtle" by which you will perceive that the matter was in train of being settled. I presume the distracted state of the country may account for the order for payment not having as yet been received.
