Gentlemen

I received your letter of the 15th of the present month, with the articles of Provissions, as per Inventory, And enclosed is a List of the Issues to the passengers, of the Fulton, also an Inventory of the Materials issued from her, she is yet whole or nearly so, and is full of water at High Water, the dry fish all damaged, and owing to her being full of water, and the place she lays in it is difficult to save any of the Pickled Fish,

There is one Barrel of Beeff left of the Fultons stores in an open State, It has been kept at the Suggestion of the Capt.n for his own People, thinking he would want it, as it was better than ours, and the Passengers have been living on our Meat more than Equivalent, up to this Period, and of Course ^it should be called expended,

There is Two Men come for the Island, which I have not had time yet to speak to, And Henry Morash goes off in good times

You have expressed Displeasure at my Consigning the Levants Boat to any others than the Commissioners, I must Confess that I am sorry to incur your Displeasure for so Innocent an act, I did not know in what way I could do it better, I knew, or thought I knew, that this Boat was private property, and considered in that case that you would rather have nothing to do with her. I am very Glad to have information from you on all Subjects connected with the Establishment, But would wish
