the first of January together with the amount paid by him for his board during the period of his illness. That Petitioner has stated to the Commissioners his willingness to receive one of the Island horses in lieu of his wages and is still willing to make this arrangement feeling that with the aid of such an animal he might be Inabled to make a livelihood for himself and family. That Your Petitioner has been advised to apply to Your Excellency being assured that when acquainted with the particular hardship of his case Your Excellency would direct such measures to be adopted as would cause him to obtain justice.
And Your Petitioner as [?] in duty bound will him pray
