Sir

We have received Your Communication under date of 3rd Sept last and now forward You per letters the articles acquired for Your Winters Supplies as per mem at food for which please send a receipt in you next letter,

We are pleased to find that the Life Boat proves Satisfactory and that it will answer the desirable purpose of saving human life when required.
We think that much credit is due to You in constructing this work and have given instructions to cause the amount of remuneration £25 which we have encluded to allow You to be paid to your agent.

We have to request that you will proceed to have the working Boat (which you state to be required) constructed without delay. We cannot however
consent
