she had a fine colt in her = and she was very fatt herself = Capt Darby arrived here the [19th?] very thick foggy wheather and the winds from the eastward = we have had a trouble good time to load = I could not send you only three barrells of cramberrys = I had the misfortune to lose a flat load coming down the lake flat and all blew intirely out of the water = I hope sir you will send the vessel back as quick as possible = by that time I shall have another load over for her = the Logwood is buryd as much as six feet under the sand, it take such a long time to dig in out = only for that I should have it, had all over before now at the shipping place = James Edward Darby arrived here with his father and I think he will answer very well = as he is a smart active young man = John Mines and Prince the black man has left the Island with their own desire = now sir I have got three boys and they are pretty stout one is 19 years & the other is 17 and the other is 12 - I think sir these three are as good as two = and I hope sir you will take it in to consideration and allow them something for their work = if not I must send them off and get them into some kind of business = the anchors & the combuse I could not send = as the vessel was so much loaded, she was well stowd = as I stowed her myself.
