Sable Island September the 13 1811

Sir

To let you now the state of the Island

Monday the 2 [illegible] run on Shore the Brig [illegible] Captain [Hayter?] on the Point of the Norwest Bar Laden with Timber from Sent Anders bound to Newfound Land. We Have saved the [anchors?] here [illegible] her Hind Rigging still is left and the Anchors on Bord and if Good Weather we may git all I Have saved for you mostly Bales of Coton and all the Champlats and [illegible] and fifteen tuns of Log Wood. We Have one 100 Bale of Coton on the North Side Redy for Shipping and fifteen tuns of Log Wood. I have sent Joseph Darby for Pilatt of the Long Boat the [illegible] as [illegible] well on the Island So No more at Present But
