Sable Island May the 24 1810
Sir we arrived at the Iland after [illegible] of ten days the wind being contarey we could not get the Cals on Bard the 15 was when employed taking things on bard belong to the wrecks and part of the 16 but the sea [rising?] we could not ship any more that day on the 17 the Chooner left the Iland and attend for the main on Wednesday the 23 the Chooner returned to the Iland we have shipt all belong to them [except?] a small parsel of log wood and the lumber sum coal [illegible] wanting for the [illegible]. I hope Sir you will excuse my letter. I have nothing more at present but I remain you Humble Servant Edward Hodgson
