that may come, or be upon the island, and to
resist and prevent and or every attempt of concealing or
carrying away or destroying of property on
the island - and we engage to remain the
complete space of twelve months from the day of
our landing upon the said Island.
Our wages to be payable on a certificate
from Mr Morris that we have in all things
conducted ourselves according to the true
intent and spirit of this agreement made at
Country Harbour this day of July 1807

Wages to commence the 25th August 1807, when
they landed on the island.
Joseph Darby left his service and paid off, 30 May 1809.
