This will certify to all whom it may concern that my Brigigan,, John and Mary of Lahave, Nova Scotia was wrecked up the shoals of Sable Island on the eightth day of January past, that I have receiv'd from Mr. James Morris all the assistance that was in his power, and with his men and boats, there has been saved from the wreck the following articles [vessl?]
twelve puncheons rum two pipes and three hogsheads, Part of two cables cut, a part of the standing and running rigging, two Bowes anchors two top-sails one fore-sail one main-sail, two top-Galer sails, one steering sail, the latter us'd on the Island for boats sails
