I shall hear inform you of the afares and the stock on the island the Cattle are all in a thriving way our hogs have increased to the number twenty as for the fowls have increased about fifty from the East End of the island we Can not find no fresh water with in Six miles and that very little
our seed in the ground fares very well at present potatoes and turnips more more so than any other thing by the appearance we Shall have about Eighty or a hundred bushels our hogs seem to thrive very well without any attendance we Exspect Every Day to increase our number and for the wild horses I counted one hundred and twenty young about 35 the two men that I have hear with me has behaved themselves Remarkable well towards the benefit of the island and these Employees as have often times tryed for fish but could catch none Except the flat fish in the pond and them very plenty.
