Should any of the hired men that went last with you, desire to quit the Service and leave the island, Capt. Darby will receive them on board, - or if any have misbehaved and been disobedient, you will send such up at all events. --
It being impracticable for any of the Commissioners to visit the Island at this time & deeming it improper to require your attendance here until the Legislature have Manifested their further intentions and final determination with regard to the Establishment --- We have to require of you a full and Circumstantial account of every occurrence since your last return to the Island - to the Day of Captain Darby's leaving you, - Comprehending the Expenditure of your Stores ad provisions, and the stock remaining on hand; - the exact state of your live stock of every kind, how they have stood the Winter, which answers best and will prove most advantageous to promote the increase of in time to Come; -- The Produce of your vegetables of every species, and which you would recommend to be Cultivated. - Whether you have made any further and useful discoveries upon the Island,
