Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Military Order of the Bath, Knight Commander of the Royal Hanoverian Guelphic Order, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over Her Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia and its Dependencies, &c. &c. &c.

To the Treasurer of the Province

You are hereby required to pay unto the Commissioners for Sable island four hundred pounds as voted in the present Session.

£400

out of the Provincial Revenue appropriated for the support of Her Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of this Province, and in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this 4th day of February in the 10th Year of Her Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini 1847.
