Award for Salvage to Sable Island in the matter of American Schr "Blooming Youth" Israel D Gooderich, Master, bound from Manchester, U.S. on a Fishing Voyage. Stranded at Sable Island 27th April last.

We the subscribers, Justices of the Peace for the County of Halifax, having heard the claims of the Commissioners for Sable Island for salvage in the above matter, and having also considering the case of the Master and Crew of the above manned Fishing Schooner, do hereby award and declare that the sum of £14..0..0 be paid to the Commissioners of Sable Island for Salvage, and that the balance amounting to £14..7..4 be paid to Israel D Gooderich the Master of Said Schooner for the benefit of whom it may concern.
