Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Military Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over Her Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia, and its Dependencies &c, &c. &c.

TO THE TREASURER OF THE PROVINCE
YOU are hereby required to pay untoThe Commissioners of Sable Island the sum of eight hundred pounds being the amount of the Provincial grant for that Establishment for the years 1837 & 1838.

£800

out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriated for the support of Her Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of the Province, and in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this 31 day of December in the 3 [?] Year of Her Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini, 1839
