BY HIS EXCELLENCY LIEUTENANT-GENERAL SIR COLIN CAMPBELL,
Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Military Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over Her Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia, and its Dependencies, &c. &c. &c.
TO THE TREASURER OF THE PROVINCE
YOU are hereby required to pay unto The Commissioners of Sable Island the sum of One Hundred and sixty four Pounds seventeen shillings & two pence being the balance of the grant of £300 in the sessin of 1837 toward the protection of the Fisheries out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriate for the support of Her Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of this Province, and in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this 31st day of December
in the 3 Year of Her Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini, 1839
