These may certify that I examined the
bread and other perishable articles on board
the Shallop Eagle intended for Mr. James Morris
of the isle of Sable -- a few days subsequent
to him being bilged on the 15th instant at
Fisherman, Harbour - that about one barrel
and a half of bread was spoilt and that 14 or
15 bushels of Potatoes was [??? and] of Twenty
four hours under saltwater the other
articles of the cargo appear to be safe
