Received from the Commissioners for settling Isle Sable, Nine pounds being the value of Indian Meal, flour, Poultry &c, which Mr James Morris Superintendent of the Island received from me for the subsistence of the people that were wrecked there from American Ships - and for the hired servants on the island which is in full of all demands whatever against Government, The said Commissioners, or the said Morris -
