Erected in 1921 to the memory of the victims of the Allan Shaft and Foord Pit explosions. Located on Foord Street, Stellarton, NS., it was made of grey and black granite,and unveiled Labour Day, 5 September 1921. The sculptor was John James Almon, of the Cape Breton firm of MacGrattan Brothers.
