A History of Mining Activity in Nova Scotia, 1720-1992

"Mining engineer at the Albion Mine in 1913." Notebaert, a Belgian, was sent to Stellarton in 1908 to represent the interests of the Belgian owners. He was responsible, along with Marthelieur, for bringing electrical power to Acadia Coal Mines.
