Lunenburg-sur-mer

This personal life record of Heinrich Moser (ca.1745-1820/27) expresses, in his native language, despair over departure from the homeland, as well as thanks for the comfort, solace and security to be received from God in the new but foreign country. In 1796 Henry Moser of Lunenburg bought land on the Moser River (Halifax County's Eastern Shore) and moved there with his wife Johanna and their family.
