Petitioner now holds by inheritance from his father, John Hicks, certain lands in the township of Wilmot in the rear of lands owned by Col. Barclay, and of lands owned by the late Thomas Robinson, Esq. and now in possession of Samuel Moore of Wilmot. Petitioner prays no grant of land be passed for lands now owned by Col. Barclay can be spoken to on the occasion, who is fully acquainted with the facts to establish the claim of the petitioner to lands described.
No grant should be made until an inquiry in the facts stated by the petitioner can be investigated and determined upon."
