Joseph Howe and His World

Mary Jane (nee Katzmann)Lawson is writing a history of Dartmouth and Preston for the Akins Prize and requests information on Fanny's relatives, the Westphal brothers who were Admirals in the British navy. Fanny's maiden name was McNab but her middle name was Westphal. Lawson's history was published in 1893.
