Top envelope addressed to The Honorable Joseph Howe 10 Sackville Street Piccadilly and the bottom envelope originally held "Illustrated Halifax The Garrison City by the Sea A Souvenir" but was more recently used to hold "Ferns from the 'Rockies' given me by John Howe of Maitland".
