The Farm Practices Board is an administrative tribunal established in 2001 to help protect farmers engaged in normal farm practices from being sued for nuisance or negligence. The board is also a mechanism for promoting the establishment of normal farm practices, and administers the Farm Practices Act on behalf of the minister of agriculture.
