Discreption of several lotts of land Relinquished to
government by the proprietors, for use of People of Colour brought
to Halifax at the conclusion of the late American War, and now
settling in Preston. viz

One certain tract of parcel of land Situate in Preston
in the County of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia
called and known by lott No 2 letter C on the General
Plan of Preston Containing on Hundred and forty five
Acres More or less purchased at the Maroon Sales by
the Honble Mit Wallace and by him relinquished to
Government

Another certain piece or parcel of land situate in
Preston aforesaid called and known by lott letter H on
the Plan of the Maroon lands containing one Hundred
and fifty Acres more or less bing part of lott No 12 letter
C on the General Plan of Preston. Also that other tract
or parcel of land called and known by lott letter I on the
plan of the Maroon Lands Containing one Hundred Acres More
or less and described on the General Plan of Epson as lott
No 22 letter D the above two Lotts were purchased at the
Maroon Sale by Theophilus Chamberlain and by him
relinquished to Government.

Another certain parcel of land Situate in Preston
aforesaid being the remaining part of lott No 12 letter
C on the General plan of Preston containing one
Hundred ares more or less purchased at the Maroon
Sale by Wm Allen and by him Conveyd to Edward
Hughes and by him the said Edward Hughes now
relinquished to Government.
