William Lawson. fig. for the accommodation of the People of Colour. For that certain Tract of Land Situated on the Eastern side of frog lake in the Township of Preston. Beginning at the Northwestern angle of the Lot Number thirteen surveyed & laid out for William Greenhound - from thence on to run North eighty eight degrees East along the line of said lot one hundred & Seventy rods or until it comes to the Public highway, thence South along the line of said high way one hundred and sixty rods then south eighty eight degrees West one hundred and fifty rods or until it comes to the Streamlet or Brook emptying out on said Frog Lake thence Northerly by the [illegible] of said Brook and by the Eastern shore of Frog Lake until it meets the [illegible] of [illegible] one hundred & fifty acres across to the [illegible] filed in the office of the Serv Gen of Lands.
Land Relinquished by Hughes for in the Township of Preston that certain tract of Land Situated [illegible] and [illegible] the South side the Main Public Road [illegible] from Dartmouth thru Preston to Musquidobit and is abutted & framed as Southern [illegible] Beginning on the southern side of said Road at the Northeastern angle of Thomas [Jultons?] land thence southerly along the line of said [Julton?] land Ninety Rods [illegible] or until it comes to the [illegible] Lot Number Seven [illegible] the Northern bound of land formerly granted the [illegible] Chamberlain [illegible] relinquished to government for the use of the People of Color therein along the line of said Land Easterly the [illegible] thereof one hundred and Sixty Rods or until it comes to the Stream fully into Frog Lake called Partridge River thence following the [illegible] of said River up stream until it comes to the high way [illegible] thence Westerly by the [illegible] of said high way until it meets the place of beginning containing one hundred acres according to the annexed Plan
