In answer to your application, writing us to relinquish the several Grants of Land agreeably to the accompanying Plan, and requiring on what grounds such relinquishment will be made.
As we have been at considerable Expense in Improving and settling the said Lands to prevent it from [escheat?], and considering were we to receive other Grants.
