A [illegible] of apparel, and in the instance of a woman and two children, of absolute {illegible], particularly demanded attention - invoice [illegible], the first had been conveniently situated for them, one can scarcely imagine how some of those people would have thought to exist under their circumstances.
Their general food was potatoes, seemingly of good quality with some in sufficient quantity, but with many in a very [scant?] portion.
Owing to the [illegible] existence of disease in most families, withdrawing the labour of the efficient [illegible] from their support, it is to be feared, that much [distrifs?] may follow this [illegible] visitation, particularly with respect to the undispursable article of [illegible]
