You will also signify to them that, on their arrival at Trinidad, they will be placed under the immediate protection of the Government of the Colony, that they will receiver grants of land, and will be supported with provisions until the produce of their own farms shall be sufficient for their suipport.
His Excellency also desires that you will take down the names and ages of those who may wish to go to that Island, and that you will inform these people that the presesnt is the only opportunity that will be afforded them by Government of removing from this Province.
