The memorial of Michael Wallace, respectfully Sheweth

That the late Lieut. governor Parr having appointed your memorialist agent to take up transports, and provide sea stores for conveying the free blackpeople in this province, and those that may come from New Brunswick to Sierra leone.

He has accordingly entered into various engagements for provisions for the voyage, and for small vessels as coasters to collect the black people, which with other contingent expences daily occurring requires a considerable sum of ready money, which is absolutely necessary for carrying on this service.

We therefore pray that your Honours may be pleased to furnish him with one thousand pounds in Spicie or Bills of Exchange to that Amount, to be accounted for, and as in duty bound he will act.
