Halifax Nova Scotia 7th October 1817 I Richard Inglis do acknowledge to have Received of His Excellency the Right Hon'ble the Earl of Dalhousie G.C. B, a Warrant on the Commissariat at this Port for the sum of Five Hundred & Sixty six pounds eight shillings & five pence three farthings currency being the amoun tof the Abstract of Disbursements annexed for which I have signed Treplicate Receipts of this [Term?] & date, Rich'd Inglis
This Deponent Richard Inglis voluntarily maketh oath that the whole of the charges in the foregoing account amounting to Five Hundred & Sixty six pounds eight shillings & five pence three farthings currency is just and true and that the parties were paid for the services therein stated, and for no other purpose whatever; ___ So, help me God. Rich'd Inglis
