I do hereby acknowledge to have received from His Excellency the Right Honorable the Earl of Dalhousie [ECB?] the above mentioned Bill of Exchange amounting to Two Hundred & Seventysix Pounds twelve shillings and Eleven Pence 1/2 Sterling Equal to Six Hundred and seventy nine Pounds three Shillings and three pence, Currency, forwhich I have Signed Triplicate Receipts of this tenor and date, (to serve as one)
