30th May 1816

Sir,
I beg leave to Acquaint you for the information of His Excellency the Governor, that there are Eleven. Negroes, Settled about three miles from teh Island who are Victualled by the Contracts to Saturday next, I wish to know in what manner they are to be provided for after that period,
There are also two Negroes who have been sent to the Poor House, whom the Commissioners have refused to
